EyeSwipe^® is a miniaturized version of Global Rainmakers, Inc.’s HBOX^® technology, performing real-time iris recognition on the fly, at a distance.

EyeSwipe^® serves various security requirements, ranging from border control and immigration applications, to access control in high-throughput environments replacing traditional methods and systems.

The EyeSwipe^® is enabled by GRI’s proprietary HCORE™ module, consisting of embedded processors, cameras, lenses and IR panels running multiple wavelengths. The operating system of the EyeSwipe is Linux.

EyeSwipe^® eliminates the need for cards and overhead to manage card-based systems. The product is offered at price points that easily compete with the significantly less-accurate but widely-used card-based systems.

EyeSwipe^® is scalable to accommodate high person-traffic environments.

The unit has a stand-off distance of 19” / 0.48 m, a horizontal capture range of 5.4” / 0.14 m and a vertical capture range of 4” / 0.1 m.

Like all HBOX^® technologies, EyeSwipe^® has “Identification in Anonymity™” capability whereby biometric information is collected and/or stored without assigned information such as name or address. Moreover EyeSwipe^® is enabled to perform “Enrollment on the Fly™.” EyeSwipe^® is enabled by GRI’s SAMBI™ (biometric acquisition) and biometric matching softwares that enable the acquisition of an individual’s iris and facial imagery and in real time match the iris.

The protocol that manages communications between the EyeSwipe building blocks is the TCP/IP protocol, which allows for easy integration of multiple units in a networked environment. Once installed, you simply enroll approved individuals into the EyeSwipe^® database and the system immediately recognizes that person’s biometrics as they walk towards or by the system.

When used with the BEWARE Transactional Module, EyeSwipe^® eliminates financial fraud related to check cashing and account opening transactions. EyeSwipe^®, with its 30 person per minute throughput capability is ideal for high-throughput environments, such as building access control. Among other things, the technology also serves as a passenger provenance, border control and immigration solution. The primary components of EyeSwipe^® are embedded processors, cameras, lenses and IR panels running multiple wavelengths, which are designed specifically by GRI and contained in the HCORE™ module.

EyeSwipe^® can process individuals as they are moving at speeds of up to 1 m/sec. EyeSwipe^®’s stand-off distance is 33”, with a vertical capture range of 27.4” and a horizontal capture range of 8”. The product is priced such that the software is included in the list price as a runtime license per unit for unlimited number of users.
